The seatpost will go down to the last 2" or 3" of the seatpost. I kept it up for long bike rides to the trails. There are some paint chips on the bike, but there are no cracks or dents. Also, there is one sticker glue mark I could not get off the bike. I have tried many times, although without the proper cleaner I have just left it, as I feel using cleaner not ment for bikes will fade the paint.
The 03 Super T Pro forks, Pig DH Pro headset, FUNN stem, Race Face crank & ODI grips were all bought at the end of last year, with the exception that the forks are new old stock, all from my local bike store.
I had surgery on my right foot at the end of last year. After recovery I bought this bike from a guy on Pinkbike from Bellville. I have rode this bike through my local trails in Brockville (the Black and Decker trails) which if anyone has been down, are very short and are for beginners. I have rode this bike all of a couple dozen times, and after each ride I throughly cleaned my bike.
Fortunately I have surgery on my left foot comin up within the next couple months. But, unfortunately it will leave me in crutches for 4 months thereafter, then a walking cast for another month. I would like to see this bike go to someone that will put it to good use in my time surgery. Next year I will be taking studies at the Algonquin College in Ottawa, and I would like to use the money from this bike to pay for a vehicle, as Ottawa is a big place to live in without transportation.
