It was only a matter of time until this trail was built. Whistler is an interesting place where there is an over abundance of people that like to torture themselves, just for the sake of doing it. We didn't really have a single epic trail, you could put a bunch together to make an epic ride, but it would still have some route finding involved. Now that the trail has been completed we finally have a point a-b epic. The first section is quite nice with a good flow to it. You can cut out at Young Lust to go back to where you started from or continue across the bridge to continue Comfortably Numb.

Directions:
12km north of Whistler Village is the turn off for Wedge Mountain parking lot. Take your first left then the next right and look for the sign.

Length:
24km... Pretty long

Ability:
Advanced/Expert

As a regular visitor to Whistler we sort advice about riding C.N. before attempting the 'signature ride'. We obviously asked the wrong people 'Do it the wrong way round' we were advised. Never were we so happy to see the tarmac of the highway - we survived! All that said, it's an epic in every sense of the word. Coming from a UK XC background the Canadians really know how to build a challenging technical XC trail - they put us to shame. We must confess that we cut our ride a little short by finishing down 'Young Lust'; now that certainly put a smile on our face and we were reminded why we love to just get out there and ride.
