Local DH/Super-D race options?

Other than the loonie races, what other types of racing is available in the area? DH and Super-D preferably.

Every other wednesday night there is a downhill loonie race in the park. Open category (juniors, women's, Men's). On a different trail each week, first and last ones are chain less for added fun.

Keep your eyes open, you never know who could be lined up behind you. Most pro's will enter when they are in town for added fun.

Check out www.sorca.ca and click on the DH tab on the right side of the page. The Squamish Offroad Cycling Association hosts DH and Super D races just about every second Wednesday evening. Wednesday May 21st is an awesome course, Crouching Squirrel Hidden Monkey. Winner will probably be around 8-10 minutes? Unfortunately not the same insurance provider as WORCA so you can't reduce the cost of membership for both associations.
