Just dropping all of you an update on my injury. There will be an official press release from Adventure Media Group about my injury by the end of the week with all the details. I have been to both of my surgeons and am continuing the rehab. I have also ridden my bike today which was ok but not 100% so I will not be attending the Mount Saint Anne World Championships or the World Cup Finals in Windham. Pinkbike.com fans have declared Steve Lloyd of Salt Lake City, Utah the winner of the Saint Deep Summer Photo Challenge Wildcard contest. After tallying over 11,000 online votes, Lloyd rose to the top and will join the roster of world-class mountain bike photographers competing in Deep Summer at Kokanee Crankworx Wednesday, August 11. The Trek World Racing Summer Camp is now well underway but there's been no time of rest for the riders. The camp witnessed the team's long-anticipated Crossover Challenge whereby riders raced both the XC and DH disciplines to see who could perform best on the day. Despite all the snow and cool spring weather the Garbanzo bike trails WILL open on time!
The trail crew have been digging through an unprecedented amount of snow in order to find and open the trail network, but thanks to modern GPS technology they were able find their way. Staying on trail will be easier than ever and riders should bring an extra set of mitts in case of emergency.
