Last weekend I got the chance to take a peak at Ritchie Schley’s new bikes before he was out the door to California for some riding with the Adidas team. Frankly I had never heard about Rotwild before Richie signed with them and I was a little surprised. But knowing the Schleyer he wasn’t just going to go and ride for any company that would throw money at him, it would have to be a company that was making excellent products and had a strong vision for the future.
I didn’t know what to expect with the bikes and I was pleasantly surprised. You can tell that the company has extensive roots in engineering, the tubes have a + extruded inside them giving them increased strength while being able to run thinner dimension walls, carbon use is prevalent throughout the lineup and the quality of the final product is outstanding.
Rotwild isn’t distributed in North America just yet, but by the way these bikes looked I don’t think it will be very long before we will start to see them over here.
Enough from me, click the link below to hear Richie describe his new bikes.
